About xFruits

xFruits is a Web 2.0 service. You do not need any specific learning to deal with it.

It is a free online service offering to every user the possibility of:
- Enriching your home
- Enlarging your blog's functionalities
- Creating, generally, your information system from the RSS feed

XFruits makes possible the Mashup RSS creation in a very simple way thanks to the Composer.
You can assemble the bricks together so as to build your own feed-based service.
"xFruiter" service's users are referenced.

xFruits has been thought of as from its origin to be upgradeable and modular, and thus, to allow a developer's community to take part in the project. Our ambition is to create dozens of new bricks!

XFruits is already available in English, French and Spanish version, a Japanese version will be available soon.
This service is still in Beta, we count on the xFruiters's ideas and suggestions to help the service to advance.

One of the Home's component is intended for collecting your ideas. The most successful ideas will be integrated into xFruits.

XFruits is a service sponsored by the WM company, based in Ajaccio, which is specialized in the CMS on request.

Hi! Sorry for bothering you, but I've just subscribed to the service. I'm using RSS to Mobile, and I've just finished to set up everything and decided to test. I opened in my phone and I noticed that each entry from my blog only has the first lines. So, I came back here and took a look at your blog mobile version and your entries are complete.
How do I set up that? Thanks in advance. :c)

Mail -> RSS not working correctly for me... Though it writes Last updated few minutes ago, it didn't fetch new mail... By republishing it fetches new mail... but then again stops working...

Also having problems with RSS to Mail (for 1 month now...). Changed my email address many times, did NOT rectify the situation. The problem is obviously coming from xFruits.

Testing out the feed aggregator (multiple feeds to one feed) and then sending that feed to a wordpress blog. Seems to work, but the RSS summary gets posted along with the full post (i.e., the first paragraph in each RSS entry is posted twice). Any way to prevent that?

Hi Laurent,
thanks for all the nice, useful features around RSS. Too bad we still seem to have a digital divide regarding use of RSS.

I have a (minor) feature request for Post to RSS. Because there is no administration for the eMails that came in, sometimes deleting the xfruit and creating a new one is inevitable. But if you have 5 guys posting, you don't want to communicate a new eMail everytime. A mail list would do the job of redirecting posts to the Post to RSS xfruit. But it doesn't work because it seems that you not only check the FROM-field to filter out unsolicited stuff but also check the TO-field.

To enable redirecting could you please either take out the check routine for the TO-field or extend that to Envelope fields like DELIVERED-TO? It should be easy to do and would enhance usability quite a bit.

Thanks in advance,
Rudy

i agree with limes "must change "beta" to one others ID" , yaep, i use a name of fruit for it, like lemon or something green, to make more sense with the coporative image.

Hi all,
great work! just a couple of suggestions. It would be great to have the possiblity to change a bit of the graphic of the mobile portal so it can become a real mobile page to add to our site at the address www.mysite.com/mobile

Or maybe it's possible already and I just dont know how to do it..

Cheers!

sorry, my english is poor, I explain it again...
I want to add the author's name on the title of each item.
Then we can know who is author of the article.
This function will avoid many chaos.
Thank you very much!

Hi,

We are thinking about an url with login/pass to access to private feeds.
But for the moment, the only solution is to make it public.

Can you please provide a way of accessing private feeds externally? I want to be able to read private feeds in a feed reader/aggregator, not in my browser. Thanks.

I have made some words about your great tool in my blog.

It's exiting to see how the 4 missing services are going to work.

Just now I need a possibity for adding a subtitle to the created xfruit websites.

Wonderful design and the 4 released services seem to work in any way.

Good luck with the coming developing.

Best regards,
webtor
